To the best of my understanding, it doesn't really matter which server a member has their "home thread" in. But we'll still wait for Norton to decide that. :p

Sadly, I'm going to decline on this. It would just be more trouble than its worth. Chocobo is correct, you can set .net or .us to your homeserver, allowing you easy access to the profile.
